DIY Lip Balm

Easy DIY Essential Oil Lip BalmDuring the winter months, my skin, hair, and face needs so much love because they become so dry!

I have tried every lip balm, stick, and oil out there. I am really picky about the consistency, flavor, taste and texture of what goes on my lips.

This is by far my most favorite lip balm AND it is incredibly cheap and DIY!!!

Here’s the recipe!!!

3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (non fractionated) (here)

3 Tablespoons Shea Butter here (UPDATE-add for a better consistency and more nourishment)

1 Tablespoon Almond Oil (here)

1 Drops Peppermint essential oil (here)

You will want to slowly melt the coconut oil and shea butter in a pot or microwave safe bowl for about 20-40 seconds (depending on your microwave). Next add in the almond oil and stir. Lastly add the peppermint oil and pour into the container of your choice. I put mine in the fridge and it hardens super fast! I got mine here after I did my sample blue one (I got that one at Walmart in the travel container section in the beauty department)

You can also give these out which I made a whole bunch for giveaways and just increase it to the 1 to 3 ratios

*Remember not to use plastic for anything with a citrus oil if you decide to do a variation of this recipe 😉

I do receive compensation when you order oils or the starter kits through my links. You will also get my training and my team to help support you on your oily journey as well as some free goodies for joining (up to $25 in value)

    1. I used to think coconut oil was a waste of money and really expensive but now that I have been chemical free it lasts ALOT longer than any lotions did and YES It is in EVERY body care recipe almost!
